Let’s paint Independence Day on Friday, July 1st at 10 am. You will splatter paint in the night sky for stars and learn how to make the sparklers light up. This will surely get you ready to celebrate the 4th of July!
♥ Children ages 7 and up are welcome =)
We will be painting on canvas, supplies will be included. Snack and drink will be provided as well. Acrylic paints can stain clothing, so wear something that can get messy!

My name is Carolyn Mikel. I am an artist and art teacher at Hassler Elementary. I have been teaching children for over 24 years. I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Studio Arts. I love painting, drawing, and crafting. I enjoy learning new things in arts and crafts and consider myself a life-long learner. I have been married for 26 years and have 3 adult children and 2 miniature poodles.
