Join us for some summer fun on Wednesday, June 22 at 2pm. Carolyn will teach you how to paint a whimsical pineapple on a 11x14 canvas with acrylic paints. Once you learn this style of painting, you can apply it to other pieces that you create. Acrylic paints can stain clothes, so wear clothes that can get messy!

About Carolyn Mikel
My name is Carolyn Mikel. I am an artist and art teacher at Hassler Elementary. I have been teaching children for over 24 years. I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Studio Arts. I love painting, drawing, and crafting. I enjoy learning new things in arts and crafts and consider myself a life-long learner. I have been married for 26 years and have 3 adult children and 2 miniature poodles.
