minä perhonen creates timeless, all-original garment textiles that are specially dyed, embroidered, and woven to recreate hand-drawn designs.
This design is made with the minä perhonen textile called “land puzzle,” which is a Jacquard corduroy material with a puzzle-like pattern, that has been embroidered with the images of free-flying butterflies. The combination of embroidery and a textile with shadows and textures that resemble a top-down view of a landscape complete the image of butterflies fluttering across a field in the calm air.
The gray hue of the cover interior has a light feel to it. The cover includes two bookmarks, one a refreshing green and the other white. The zipper pull is made from natural leather and includes a cute butterfly charm as an accent.
Each cover contains a unique arrangement of the pattern. We hope you enjoy your one-of-a-kind cover.
