Curious about brush lettering but not sure where to start? This beginner-friendly workshop is the perfect introduction to the art of brush lettering—no experience required.
In this hands-on class, you’ll learn the foundations of brush lettering, including how to use brush pens, proper pen grip, creating thin and thick strokes, and how those strokes come together to form letters. We’ll break down the alphabet step-by-step, practice connecting letters, and explore simple phrases and basic composition techniques so you can create polished lettering with confidence.
Each student will receive a handmade lettering workbook designed specifically for beginners, along with brush pens from Kuretake ZIG to practice with during class and take home. You’ll leave with new skills, finished practice pages, and the confidence to continue lettering on your own.
Perfect for beginners, creatives looking to try something new, and anyone who loves stationery and hand-made art.
