Policies

Turnaround

Our current processing time is 3–5 business days, followed by an additional 3–5 business days for shipping, depending on the shipping service selected. During the holiday season and the Hobonichi launch in September, processing time extends to 7–10 business days. Local customers may opt for in-store pickup to avoid shipping fees and will receive a notification when their order is ready for collection.

Please note that we are unable to accommodate rush orders at this time. Due to the high volume of daily orders and limited staffing, we cannot guarantee expedited processing. We appreciate your understanding.

 

Shipping

We ship with USPS Ground Advantage, USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground and FedEx:

USPS Ground Advantage:

  • USA up to 3-5 business days
  • International up to 2-5 business weeks* 

USPS Priority Mail:

  • USA up to 2-3 business days
  • International up to 2-3 business weeks*

UPS Ground:

  • Up to 5 business days

* Please be reminded that for international orders, there may be a brokerage fee charged by UPS and duty fee by the federal government. There are occasionally unforeseen delays and interruptions with service that may affect expected arrival time. We are not responsible for delayed packages, including those who have opted for Priority Mail service. 

 

Policies

Notice to customers:

All Hobonichi item sales are final, with no returns, refunds, or exchanges allowed. Due to high demand and limited availability, we aim to make these products accessible to as many customers as possible. Once purchased, items cannot be returned, including those given as gifts. We appreciate your understanding.

Restocking fees
If you place an order and change your mind, we're happy to help you cancel, but please note that a restocking fee of 20% of the item purchase price will apply.

Credit card and transaction fees incurred when an order is placed, and unfortunately, these fees are non-refundable if the order is cancelled. Thank you for your understanding.

Returns 
We have a 7-day return policy. If it’s been more than 7 days since your purchase, we’re unable to offer a refund or exchange. All returns must have prior approval and an authorization number.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • All Hobonichi items
  • Dated planners
  • Sale & Clearance items
  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Health and personal care items
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable) 
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Shipping is not refundable.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received your refund yet, start by checking with your credit card company, as it may take some time for it to be officially posted. Then, reach out to your bank, since there’s often a bit of processing time before refunds appear. If you’ve done both and still haven’t received your refund, please contact us at order@littlecraftplace.com.

Sale items (if applicable)
Refunds are only available for regular-priced items; unfortunately, sale items are not eligible for a refund.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We replace items only if they’re defective or damaged. To exchange for the same item, just email us at order@littlecraftplace.com.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift at purchase and shipped straight to you, you’ll get a gift credit for the value of your return. Once we receive the returned item, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If it wasn’t marked as a gift, or the gift giver had it shipped to themselves before giving it to you, we’ll send the refund to the gift giver, who will then know about your return.

Customers are responsible for covering their own return shipping costs, which are non-refundable. In the event of a refund, the return shipping cost will be deducted from the total refund amount.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of returned items without these measures.

 

Photo and Video Release

Please note that photographs and videos are taken in Little Craft Place and these will be used by the store for marketing and publicity in our publications, on our website, in social media, and in third-party publications.
