Kyo No Oto - Adzukiiro NO.06 Ink
About The Collection:
"Kyoto no Oto" is a series of writing inks that recreate traditional Japanese colors used since the Heian period with modern techniques and interpretations. Each color has its own unique name and story.
This dye ink was developed exclusively by TAG STATIONERY in collaboration with the Kyoto Plant Dyeing Laboratory, a group of dyeing and weaving experts.
This is a distinctive ink that takes advantage of the bleeding characteristic of dyes to create a gradation of light and dark shades.
- Because dye ink dissolves in water, you can use it to write with the ink and then use a water brush to blur or thin the color, allowing you to create a variety of different expressions.
About The Ink:
Azuki-iro refers to the purple-tinged reddish-brown color of azuki beans. Red has long been used as a color of prayer, and red rice made with azuki beans is an indispensable item for celebrations and events.
