Envelope Pocket Junk Journal - Hearts Theme with Debby Newman

Come learn to make this pretty junk journal from envelopes including a double pocket, and two tuck spots. One tuck spot features a greeting card and the other has a small pink envelope containing some “smash cards”. This journal has a subtle heart theme that would work to send a friend for Valentine’s Day but it can be used any time. We will be using some Graphic 45 paper from their Blossom Collage Pack in Pink. We will also learn how to hand stitch the crate paper ruffle as shown on the edge of the cover.
We have 10 kits in pink and 2 in purple. Let us know when you register if you prefer the purple. The purple kit papers are already chosen to be aesthetically similar to the pink pages and will have coordinating accessory pieces such as purple buttons.

The finished size is 5 ¼” wd X 7 ¼” t.

Students should bring:

Scissors, ruler, glue stick or Precison Glue or tape glue runner, paper cutter, bone folder (if you have one), a sewing needle and white thread, and Tim Holtz Distress Ink-Vintage Photo and blending tool. Also bring some Fabri-Fix glue if you have it.

I love paper crafts & more!  I previously worked in the craft industry as a freelance designer for craft magazines and booklets and then as a designer for a craft manufacturer.  This included demonstrating new products and creating make-it-and-take-it classes for trade shows and retailers.  I am very excited about teaching various paper craft classes for all of you at Little Craft Place!
