Paris Mother’s Day Flip Card Class with Debby Newman
Come create a lovely Paris themed Flip Card in time for Mother’s Day. We are using beautiful papers from Craft Consortium’s Baroque and Belle Fleur papers. You will be able to choose from a variety of soft colors with a very Vintage Wallpaper look. This card has flip up sections, pockets, belly bands and tags.
We will also learn how to make a faux glassine bag from printed vellum paper. Our Paris theme features very luxe accessories such as velvet, satin, and sheer ribbons, pearl cabochons, millinery flowers and more. As a bonus, I will show you how to take this basic layout from 1 sheet of 12” x 12” paper and with a few minor changes, create a variety of other booklet possibilities.
Students should bring the following Tools:
Scissors, good craft glue such as Precision Glue or Fabri-Tac, Paper cutter and Scoring board (if you have), regular hole punch, ruler and Tim Holtz Distress Ink-Vintage Photo and applicator.
