Join Lhey Bella Ralston @mommylhey for a spooky-cute twist on Artful Journaling!
In this fun and beginner-friendly Halloween workshop, Lhey will guide you step-by-step as you learn how to turn simple shapes into adorable kawaii spooky characters—from friendly ghosts and silly pumpkins to bats, vampires, sweet treats, and more.
Then, bring your spooky crew together to create your very own layered journaling dashboard that you can tuck into your favorite journal, planner, or notebook and show off all spooky season long!
No drawing experience? No worries! This class is all about keeping things simple, getting curious, and having fun with your creativity. Lhey will share her a approachable doodling tips to help you create characters in your own way and give them plenty of personality.
You’ll also receive exclusive stationery goodies designed by Lhey along with Halloween-themed art supplies from Faber-Castell USA to use during the workshop and continue creating with at home.

About Lhey:
Lhey Ralston, also known as Mommy Lhey, is a creative educator and illustrator who loves helping people tell their stories through artful journaling and cute doodles. She’s known for her playful, beginner-friendly teaching style and her love for all things cozy, colorful, and creative. Whether it’s journals, planners, or sketchbooks, Lhey’s all about making art feel fun, easy, and not intimidating. When she’s not teaching or drawing adorable characters, she’s probably journaling, doodling, and cheering people on to just start and create.
- Workshops are non-refundable, non-transferable or redeemable for cash, and all sales are final. We have committed to compensating our instructors for their time, supplies and talent.
- You don't need a Marketplace admission ticket to attend workshop, we're all about flexibility here.
- For workshop check-in, all you need is your name and order number.
- If you can't make it on the actual day, you may get the kit to finish the project at home. Reach out to the instructor to arrange kit pickup or shipping.
- In the event a workshop is cancelled, attendees will be fully refunded within 10 days of the event. Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place reserve the right to cancel any class due to lack of participation.
- Workshops are not included in the daily pass or 3-day pass.
- Ticket holders grant Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place permission to use their recorded likeness at the event, with the understanding that these images and videos may be used for future promotional activities.
