Ghouls Just Wanna Have Fun: A Drag Cookie Workshop with Alex Copeland
Ready to turn cookies into edible works of art? Join Plenty O’ Smiles for a fun, interactive cookie decorating workshop where you’ll learn the basics of decorating royal icing cookies in a welcoming, judgment-free environment. Each participant will receive six pre-baked cookies, icing, sprinkles, decorating tools, and step-by-step instruction to complete a beautiful cookie set to take home. Whether you’ve never held a piping bag before or already love decorating cookies, this class is designed for all skill levels. Along the way, you’ll learn decorating techniques, helpful tips and tricks, and plenty of ways to build your confidence with royal icing. Most importantly, you’ll leave with six decorated cookies, new creative skills, and a reminder that cookie decorating is supposed to be fun!
**Participants must be 18 years or older to join this workshop.
What does this class kit include?
6 cookies, icing to completely decorate, scribe tool, 4 bags of icing, napkin, tip sheet with ingredients, and a take home tray.

About Alex:
Alex is the owner and cookie artist behind Plenty O’ Cookies and the drag performer Plenty O’ Smiles. With more than a decade of experience, he has taught fun, hands-on cookie decorating workshops at events and venues across the country, welcoming everyone from complete beginners to experienced decorators. His work and expertise have been featured on Food Network three times and in The New York Times twice. Alex is known for making cookie decorating approachable, entertaining, and memorable, with step-by-step instruction that ensures everyone leaves feeling successful. Workshops can be taught by Alex in or out of drag, with Plenty O’ Smiles bringing an extra dose of personality, humor, and entertainment to the experience. Alex provides an engaging, all-levels workshop where guests can learn a new skill, get creative, and have a great time doing it.
- Workshops are non-refundable, non-transferable or redeemable for cash, and all sales are final. We have committed to compensating our instructors for their time, supplies and talent.
- You don't need a Marketplace admission ticket to attend workshop, we're all about flexibility here.
- For workshop check-in, all you need is your name and order number.
- If you can't make it on the actual day, you may get the kit to finish the project at home. Reach out to the instructor to arrange kit pickup or shipping.
- In the event a workshop is cancelled, attendees will be fully refunded within 10 days of the event. Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place reserve the right to cancel any class due to lack of participation.
- Workshops are not included in the daily pass or 3-day pass.
- Ticket holders grant Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place permission to use their recorded likeness at the event, with the understanding that these images and videos may be used for future promotional activities.
