What if the "junk" you normally toss- programs, packaging, tags, and receipts- became the most meaningful pages in your journal? In this hands-on junk journaling class, Mariel will show you how to transform your Little Craft Fest ephemera into a modern, scrapbook-style journal spread that tells your story.
We'll work with real-life items collected during the event, like programs and packaging from your purchases, and explore creative, approachable ways to use odd-shaped and thicker pieces without feeling bulky or messy. You'll learn practical tips for incorporating packaging, tags, and layered ephemera into journal pages and working with thicker and non-traditional materials. We'll be using journaling as a memory-keeping and storytelling tool and learn fun ways to incorporate your journalling.
You will receive everything you need to get started with items from Kellofaplan x Whimsyluxe! Just bring your "junk" and scissors! Whether you're new to junk journaling or looking for fresh inspiration, this class will help you see everyday paper in a whole new way-and leave with a page full of memories from the fest itself!

About Mariel:
Mariel is a longtime scrapbooker, paper crafter, and creative planner who believes paper tells stories in ways words sometimes can't. She's been decorative planning since 2015 and fell in love with junk journaling as a way to capture everyday moments using scraps, layers, and creativity. For her, journaling isn't about perfection, it's about memory keeping, self-expression, and enjoying the process! She's thrilled to guide you through junk journaling and help you create pages that feel like you!
- Workshops are non-refundable, non-transferable or redeemable for cash, and all sales are final. We have committed to compensating our instructors for their time, supplies and talent.
- You don't need a Marketplace admission ticket to attend workshop, we're all about flexibility here.
- For workshop check-in, all you need is your name and order number.
- If you can't make it on the actual day, you may get the kit to finish the project at home. Reach out to the instructor to arrange kit pickup or shipping.
- In the event a workshop is cancelled, attendees will be fully refunded within 10 days of the event. Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place reserve the right to cancel any class due to lack of participation.
- Workshops are not included in the daily pass or 3-day pass.
- Ticket holders grant Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place permission to use their recorded likeness at the event, with the understanding that these images and videos may be used for future promotional activities.
- Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant from the venue at their discretion.
