Gouache Monogram Painting on Paper Journal with Jillian Kaye
Welcome in spring by learning how to hand paint a floral monogram on your own paper journal. Students will learn a simple but elegant method to create a floral monogram using gouache paints. We will demonstrate how to work with and layer gouache, how to hand-letter flowy capital letters, and ways to customize our monogram using a variety of flowers and leaf shapes. Students of all skill levels will enjoy this easy-going class and walk away with high-quality materials and tools, a better understanding of gouache, and a custom notebook in which to journal, doodle, and memory-keep their time from Little Craft Fest 2026.


Class kit includes: 

    - 1 kraft paper notebook
    - 1 professional paintbrush liner
    - Individual samples of professional-quality Holbein gouache paints
    - 1 white pencil

    Jillian Kaye is an illustrator and hand-letterer from Saint Louis, MO with a passion for snail mail. For over ten years, Jillian's mail art has been traversing mailboxes and inspiring other artists to shift their canvases to an envelope. When she's not sending mail, Jillian creates illustrations, lettering, and murals for a variety of clients, including Sakura of America, NASCAR, Allianz, and Capital One.     By purchasing this ticket, you agree to the following terms:
    1. Workshops are non-refundable, non-transferable or redeemable for cash, and all sales are final.  We have committed to compensating our instructors for their time, supplies and talent.  
    2. If you can't make it on the actual day, you will get the kit to finish the project at home. Workshop materials must be picked up in person from our store Little Craft Place and will not be mailed to participants who are unable to attend.
    3. In the event a workshop is cancelled, attendees will be fully refunded within 10 days of the event. Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place reserve the right to cancel any class due to lack of participation.
    4. Workshops are not included in the daily pass or 3-day pass.
    5. Ticket holders grant Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place permission to use their recorded likeness at the event, with the understanding that these images and videos may be used for future promotional activities.
    6.  Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant from the venue at their discretion.
    7. Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place is not liable for any personal or financial harm incurred at the venue, nor for any lost, stolen, or misplaced items.
