The Paper series uses the nuanced paper from the paper company Takeo for their covers.

At first glance, this book looks like a simple black techo, but upon closer inspection, the surface reveals a plaid pattern. It’s crafted from Takeo’s “Gingham GA,” a paper embossed with gingham-like plaids that catch the light from various angles. Despite the embossing, the texture is smooth to the touch, and the year 2026 is elegantly foil-pressed in silver.

The cover of this HON book is thinner and softer compared to other HON books because the sides of the cover are cut off rather than wrapping the material around the cardboard. It doesn’t include a bookmark, so feel free to use the provided pencil board instead.
