Toyo Tool Box Cosmetic Variations

We know that when you buy a Toyo toolbox, you want it to look great and work hard for you. That’s why we like to be upfront about what to expect. Some of the toolbox models may have small cosmetic paint variations that happen during the manufacturing process. They’re purely cosmetic and don’t affect how the toolbox functions—but we want you to feel confident and informed before you buy. We've provided a message from Toyo Steel Co. as well as photos of common concerns we hear from customers to ensure you can feel confident in your purchase.

A message from Toyo Steel Co. on imperfections in their Toyo Tool Boxes:

"Due to the structure of the product, areas where the handle comes into contact with the body may be more prone to minor paint wear. In addition, small surface scratches, paint irregularities, uneven textures, or tiny fibers on the coating may be present.

Please note that these characteristics occur naturally during the manufacturing process and are considered normal under our quality standards. They are not regarded as defects."

Common Areas of Concern:

For Models: Y-350, T-360, and T-320

Due to the manufacturing and finishing process, minor cosmetic variations may be present, including:

Small paint chips on the locking mechanisms, which can occur when components are repositioned during the spray process:

Occasional paint mottling on the interior back wall of the box, where areas of paint may display slight variations in color or opacity.

Minor paint chipping on the rings that allow the top handle to move, resulting from the manufacturer’s painting method.

For Model: ST-350

Due to the manufacturing and finishing process, minor cosmetic variations may be present, including:

Minor paint chips at the top corners of the exterior square pattern.

Paint cracking around hinge bolts that allow the box layers to open.

Areas of missing paint where the handles connect to the toolbox.

These conditions occur across color options and are cosmetic in nature and do not affect the functionality, durability, or performance of the product. This is not an exhaustive list of imperfections; however these are the concerns we are currently aware of.

We ask that customers review and acknowledge these cosmetic variations prior to purchase. Due to these cosmetic variations occurring during manufacturing, returns for this reason will no longer be eligible for refund/exchange from our store.
