The Bow & Tie series is covered with the same textured, shiny fabric used in neckties. The material has a beautiful gloss and is soft to the touch. This In the Forest cover features a soft, muted blue background adorned with animals and plants from the forest. The design is woven in fine detail using necktie fabric, depicting owls, bears, rabbits, squirrels, wildflowers, birds, and more.


The gentle expressions and gestures of the forest animals are also carefully recreated. Since the material is the same as that used for actual neckties, the woven texture feels smooth to the touch, and the silky luster adds to its charm.

The HON features thread-stitch binding, much like the Hobonichi Techo books, allowing it to open fully flat at 180 degrees on the table. It stays open without needing to be held down.
