Join Jessica Roux, creator of the bestselling Woodland Wardens Oracle Deck and Tarot of the Woodland Wardens, in this interactive workshop perfect for aspiring artists and illustrators. Jessica will share the process behind designing a tarot deck, and students will work in their chosen medium on creating an illustration of their chosen tarot card. Jessica will share inspiration and tips on generating ideas, creating engaging compositions, and working with typography to create a beautiful piece of magical artwork.

Class kit includes:

  • template for the tarot card on nice Bristol paper, and/or a digital download
  • printed handouts outlining things to remember, popular motifs, and an introduction to the Major Arcana
  • 3B pencil
  • kneaded eraser
  • pencil sharpener
  • a sticker of one the tarot card illustrations

    Jessica Roux

    Jessica Roux is a New York Times bestselling illustrator, author, and gardener based just outside of Nashville, TN.     By purchasing this ticket, you agree to the following terms:
    1. Workshops are non-refundable, non-transferable or redeemable for cash, and all sales are final.  We have committed to compensating our instructors for their time, supplies and talent.  
    2. If you can't make it on the actual day, you will get the kit to finish the project at home. Workshop materials must be picked up in person from our store Little Craft Place and will not be mailed to participants who are unable to attend.
    3. In the event a workshop is cancelled, attendees will be fully refunded within 10 days of the event. Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place reserve the right to cancel any class due to lack of participation.
    4. Workshops are not included in the daily pass or 3-day pass.
    5. Ticket holders grant Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place permission to use their recorded likeness at the event, with the understanding that these images and videos may be used for future promotional activities.
    6.  Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any participant from the venue at their discretion.
    7. Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place is not liable for any personal or financial harm incurred at the venue, nor for any lost, stolen, or misplaced items.
    8. Be aware that Little Craft Fest/Little Craft Place may modify, revise, or update these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
