Taut is a collection of leather covers designed to fit your Techo snugly, giving it a sleek and stylish look. This time, we've added a Weeks-sized cover to the lineup for the very first time.



The leather used is called Seta Double, tanned by the North Italian company Poletto. The European hide was chrome-tanned to give this slightly matte yet clear leather. The name Seta comes from the Italian word for silk, and speaks for the silky smooth touch and natural finish of this leather.

The cover features a warm gray tone on the front and a cool-toned light blue on the back, achieved through a specialized process on a single piece of leather. The leather's sleek finish gives it a soft, luxurious feel, and its finely grained texture helps minimize the visibility of scuff marks.




A key feature of this series is that the techo will look sleek and taut when you close the cover. The pen hook on the right side is designed to hold a pen by its clip.




In the cover interior, you will find a slit-type pocket, perfect for storing business and other cards. Included is a small bookmark, made with the same leather as the cover and pressed in gold foil with the Hobonichi logo. You can put this between the pages to always find your place.



Since the expression of the leather and texture differs from cover to cover, each piece is wholly unique.
