The A6 size features an illustration from the novel Finn Family Moomintroll. Moomintroll, Snufkin, and Sniff discover a mysterious hat lying on top of a mountain. The back of the board shows Moominpappa trying on the hat and admiring himself in the mirror.

The A5 size also features a scene from Finn Family Moomintroll. Moomintroll and his friends are playing in a jungle that the mysterious hat has caused to grow around the Moominhouse. The back shows the moment when Moominmamma wakes up and realizes her room is filled with tiny white flowers.

The Weeks size illustration comes from the novel Comet in Moominland. It depicts an extravagant grand ball where tiny water spirits, bugs, and tree spirits have all gathered. The back shows the characters dancing joyfully around the ballroom.

The back has markings at 1mm intervals along the long edge, so it can also be used as a ruler.
